ÂMES ALLEMANDES

travers de longues années d'observation j'ai essayé
d'analyser la réalité de différent point de vue
pour l'intégrer de cette manière dans mes travaux
artistiques.
Je pense que c'est le devoir d'un artiste envers la société
de montrer dans son art, les côtés positifs et négatifs
de la réalité.
Mon idée résulte de l'observation critique de la télévision,
qui nous montre dans divers émissions du genre « reality-shows
» (Big Brother etc.)
comment les gens deviennent des souris de laboratoire. Plus les «
souris » sont obscures et non cultivés, plus les parts
de marché de ces émissions augmente. Primitif, asocial
et dévié.... le show doit continuer. Les tréfonds
de l'humanité sont montré, commercialisé et exorcisé.
Dans mon concept artistique, j'aimerais montrer des personnes complètement
"normales" et attirer l'attention grâce à la
photographie sur leur beauté principale et magnificence.
C'est de cette façon que la conception des « âmes
Allemandes » est née.
Devant la caméra, nous trouvons des personnes qui n'ont pratiquement
eu aucun contact avec le monde de l'art jusqu'à présent.
Parmi les «âmes Allemandes » nous comptons p.ex.
un camionneur, un sportif, un agent immobilier, un étudiant
de marketing, une mère de famille, un employé bancaire,
un vendeur, un médecin... Ils sont tous muse de mon projet.
La duplicité du miroir, le comte Alice au pays des merveilles,
l'élimination des frontières entre l'observateur et
celui qui est observé, tout cela a contribué à
la réalisation de ce projet. Un grand remerciement de ma part
à tous ceux qui ont posé devant l'objectif.
A concept of generation
I'd been trying to observe reality from diferent points of view through
the years, and take it into my artistic universe in every way , the
artist's compromise goes hand in hand with society and sometimes you
can extract the positive and negative aspects of our times.
Paradoxically, one idea come up after a period of critical observation,
the so called "trash TV" and the reality shows played around
the world, makes me see how the artistic's contents were filled with
common people, like if they were laboratory animals to be observed.
The program that shot up to the top of the ratings if the one that
shows the people more obscure, morbidity, perfidy, everything is useful
and valid for entertainment.
In that moment come up the idea of filling an artistic concept with
common people, to look for the intrinsic beauty we all carry inside
ourselves, that's why the idea of "german' souls" was born,
portraits of people not related to the arts, may be people that go
to the opening of an exhibition, with differents occupations (an architect,
a cosmetician, a violinist, a handball's national team player, a student
of genetics' biology, a physical training teacher, a bank
employee, a housekeeper, a truck driver, an obstetrician, a dentist's
assistant, a student of marketing, a lawyer, a window dresser, a pharmacist,
a real estate agent, etc.) will be part of the artistic concept.
Mirrors' duality, Alice in Wonderland's parable, crossing the frontier
between the observer and the observee, helped to the realization of
this project, and above all, the persons portrayed, to whom I give
my ethernal gratitude.
Information about me: my name its Fabio Borquez, I born in argentina,
and since a couple of years I?m living in germany Düsseldorf,
six years ago I was in miami making a shoot for a magazine about the
Albion hotel , and in the middle of the sea I meet a girl that was
floating and red ball, ten minutes later I propose her a wedding,
so after it ,we married and we are living in the suburb from Düsseldorf
, in a farm. here I have my atelier and photostudio, and I?m working
with it full time.
I have my degree like an architect, I was studied art and photo,
and my first work was around the world making photos for magazines
and architectural books.my equipment its a nikon f3hp and a mamiya
rb67.I was starting making architectural photos for differents kind
of magazines, books and news papers, that allow me to travel around
and develop my own projects. Two years ago I began to make a nude
work called "Deutsche Seelen", that means "german
Souls", above I include my concept about it.
Konzept meiner Idee
Durch die Jahre habe ich versucht die Realität von verschiedenen
Blickwinkeln aus zu betrachten, um sie auf diese Art und Weise in
meine künstlerische Arbeit zu integrieren.
Die Verpflichtung des Künstlers gegenüber der Gesellschaft
ist, so denke ich, in seiner Kunst sowohl die positiven als auch
die negativen Seiten der Wirklichkeit zu zeigen.
Meine Idee entstand durch die kritische Beobachtung des Fernsehens,
das uns mit seinen vielen reality-shows (Big Brother, usw.) zeigt,
wie Menschen zu Labormäusen werden.
Je obskurer und unkultivierter die " Mäuse" umso
höher die Einschaltquoten der Sendung.
Primitiv, asozial und abgedreht . die Show muss weitergehen. Die
Abgründe der Menschheit werden gezeigt, vermarktet und heraufbeschworen.
In meinem künstlerischen Konzept möchte ich ganz "normale"
Menschen zeigen und durch die Fotografie ihre wesentlichen Schönheiten
und Glanzseiten hervorheben.
So entstand das Konzept der "Deutschen Seelen": Vor der
Kamera stehen Menschen die mit der Welt der Kunst bisher wenig Berührungspunkte
hatten. Zu den deutschen Seelen gehören u.a.
ein LKW-Fahrer, eine Kosmetikerin, eine Sportlerin, eine Studentin,
eine Hausfrau, ein Bankangestellter, ein Arzt. Sie alle sind Musen
meines Projektes. Die Zweiheit des Spiegels, das Märchen von
Alice im Wunderland, die Grenzüberschreitung zwischen dem der
beobachtet und dem der beobachtet wird haben dazu beigetragen, dieses
Projekt zu verwirklichen. Meinganz spezieller dank gilt dabei den
Menschen die vor der Kamera gestanden haben.
Fabio Borquez wurde am 26. Dezember 1964 in Buenos Aires, Argentinien
geboren. Hier studierte er Kunst, Fotografie und Architektur. Er
gewann verschiedene Stipendien für Indien, Kolumbien und Deutschland.
Er nahm bislang sowohl an Gemeinschafts- als auch Einzelausstellungen
teil. Mit seiner Kunst gewann er verschiedene Preise.1984 und 1985
stellte Borquez einzelne seiner Arbeiten im "Museum national"
in Buenos Aires aus. Seine Arbeiten umfassen ein großes Spektrum.
Fabio malt, zeichnet, fotografiert und arbeitet mit Multimedia.
In Buenos Aires arbeitet der Künstler mit der bekannten Galeristin
Sara Garcia Uriburu zusammen. Das Düsseldorfer Kulturamt hat
ihn in den Kreis der Düsseldorfer Künstler aufgenommen.

Einsame Städte, dunkle oder helle Seiten des Menschen, das
Extreme zwischen schwarz-weiß und farbig, zwischen den Schönheiten
und Grässlichkeiten der Menschen, der Schmerz der Heimatlosen,
die Kritik an der Gesellschaft, Himmel, Erde und Hölle sind
Motive seiner Arbeit.

Seine fotografischen Arbeiten machte er unter anderem für Architektur-Magazine
und Bücher. Momentan bereitet er sich auf ein Fotoakt-Projekt
mit dem Namen "Deutsche Seelen" vor.
Concepto de generacion
A través de los años he tratado de observar la realidad
desde distintos puntos de vista e incorporarla a mi universo artístico
de distintas formas, el compromiso del artista con la sociedad van
de la mano y veces se desglosa lo positivo y lo negativo de los
tiempos en que vivimos . Paradójicamente después de
una temporada de observación critica surgió una idea
a la luz, a partir de lo que se llama hoy "televisión
basura", los reality shows que existen hoy en todas las latitudes
del globo, me hicieron observar como se llenaban los contenidos
artísticos con gente común , para convertirlos en
una especie de ratones de laboratorio a ser observados. Cuando mas
oscura sean las personas los programas tienen mayor puntaje de rating
, lo morboso , lo pérfido, todo en función del espectáculo.
En ese momento surgió la idea de llenar un concepto artístico
con gente común, buscar en ellos la belleza intrínseca
que todos llevamos dentro, así fue como nació la idea
de "almas alemanas", la idea de retratar a personas que
no provienen de la esfera artística, esas personas que quizás
vienen a un vernissage a observar una muestra, con sus distintos
oficios y profesiones (arquitecta , cosmetóloga, violinista,
jugadora de equipo nacional de handball, estudiante de biología
genética, profesor de educación física, empleada
bancaria, ama de casa, chofer de camiones , obstetra, ayudante odontológica,
estudiante de marketing, abogada, vidrierista, farmacéutica,
agente inmobiliario, etc) en este caso se convertirían en
parte del objeto artístico.
La dualidad de los espejos , la parábola de Alicia en el
país de las maravillas, el cruce de las fronteras que delimitan
el observador del ser-observado, han servido para llevar a cabo
este proyecto y por sobre todo la gente que se presto a ser retratada,
a los que remito mi
eterna gratitud.
Fabio Borquez nació el 26 de diciembre de 1964 en Buenos
Aires, Argentina. Realizó estudios de Arte , fotografia y
arquitectura. Ha recibido distintas becas que lo llevaron a la India,
Colombia y Alemania. Ha realizado distintas muestras en diferentes
paises. En 1984 y 1985 participa entre los seleccionados para el
premio Siemens en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Su trabajo
abarca un amplio espectro , que abarca desde: la pintura,el dibujo,
la fotografia y el arte digital: En Buenos Aires trabaja con la
Galeria Sara Garcia Uriburu,
Desde hace algunos años reside en Alemania, Nordrheinwesfallen,
donde es reconocido por el ministerio de cultura de Düsseldorf.
Los temas de su pintura son: ciudades solitarias, el lado oscuro
y claro de los seres humanos, el extremo entre lo monocromático
y el color, entre la belleza y lo monstruoso; el dolor de la patria
lejana, el cielo y el infierno...
Su trabajo fotográfico, ha sido publico en primera instancia
en libros y revistas de arquitectura, actualmente el trabajo de
esta galeria es parte de su proyecto "almas alemanas".
