Frédéric Acquaviva. Le Disquefor voice, harpsichord and electronics

Venerdì 1 aprile 2011 alle ore 18 sarà presentata per la prima volta, in contemporanea, in 8 differenti luoghi, situati in 8 differenti paesi, l'ultimo lavoro di musica globale (vocale, strumentale ed elettronica) di Frédéric Acquaviva, composto da 8 parti di 40 minuti ciascuna, così suddivise:
#1, Ledisque is only vocal (with Frédéric Acquaviva's voice plus his recordings of old women in a Psychiatric Hospital and the voice of a voluntary tortured german subject recorded in the Donjon of Maitresse Cindy, located in Paris, Place de Clichy, where the composer stayed voluntary locked in composing residency for 2 months without going out.
#2, Edisquel is only instrumental (Frédéric Acquaviva plays harpsichord, an instrument he never played and that is reworked afterwards on computer. Please note that the whole music is based on the absence of dynamics of harpsichord, seen as a global model for the piece, meaning in each part of 40 minutes there is either total silence or extreme levels)
#3, Disquele is only electronics (Frédéric Acquaviva is playing an electronic device conceived specialy for this piece based on Circuit Bending, photosensible and responding to gesture. It also has breakcore loops that he cut to avoid any beats and have only impulses, what he called "unlooped loops")
#4, Isqueled is the exact mathematical combinaison of vocal and instrumental, making new combinaisons, some voids being fullfiled or added
#5, Squeledi is the exact mathematical combinaison of instrumental and electronics
#6, Queledis is the exact mathematical combinaison of vocal and electronics
#7, Queledis is the reunion of the 3 musical worlds, but has to be seen as a simple part of Le Disque, like any others
#8, Queledis is a remix of #7, in different orders, with filters, distorsions, quarters tones, different spaces…
